BONE MINERAL DENSITY (BMD)
Do not take calcium supplements for at least 24 hours before the exam
Wear loose, comfortable clothing without metal fasteners
Remove all jewelry, metal objects, or items in pockets
Inform the technologist if you are pregnant
You can usually take your medications as normal.
