CT SCAN - ANGIO BILATERAL UPPER LIMB ARTERIOGRAM
- no solid food for 3-4 hours before the exam
- Take regular prescribed medications
- An IV catheter will be placed in your arm/hand to inject iodine-based dye
- Wear comfortable clothes
- You will likely lie on your back with your arms raised above your head
- If you have diabetes or kidney issues, you may need to increase fluid intake to help clear the contrast dye from your body.
